Project Description

Food and wine tour, the flavours of a city

An itinerary to taste, to see, to listen, to touch, to smell.

Tour Details

The Pisan culinary tradition reflects its territory designed by the sea, the mountains, and the hills: fresh fish, Pisan meats, honey from the San Rossore Natural Park… enhanced by the creativity of the Pisan artisans and chefs. In the old town, there are many little shops where you can taste schiacciata (a particular type of focaccia bread), the famous cecìna (made with chickpea flour and water), the olive oil made with olives from Monte Pisano, exceptional wines and beers, and, to finish, the pleasure of homemade ice cream.

A walk in the city, to discover the beauty of the Lungarni (the Arno river banks) and the charm of the alleys, tasting the best delicacies, in Pisa.
