Visita guidata It is located in the originally San Matthew’s convent. It is one of the major sacred arts museum in Italy. Exceptional collection of painted crosses, wood sculptures, codex, medieval ceramics.
Some of the main Tuscan artists: Simone Martini, Masaccio, Gentile da Fabriano, Beato Angelico, Benozzo Gozzoli e Domenico Ghirlandaio.
The Giuli Rosselmini Gualandi palace, ancient aristocratic residence, is today the location of a rich permanent collection: Cecco di Pietro, Taddeo di Bartolo, Artemisia e Orazio Gentileschi, Aurelio Lomi, Tempesti e Cigoli.

The museum, located in the amazing Lanfranchi Palace, houses a rich collection of modern and contemporary graphic masterpieces. The visit permits to discover the graphic techniques (etching, dry point, xylography, lithography) to appreciate the incredible and suggestive nuances.

The botanical garden is the most ancient dating back to the 1543, it houses collections of exotic and Mediterranean plants, medicinal herbs and centuries old trees. The museum, annexed to the garden, collects 300.000 dry herbs. Interesting waxworks of plants and flowers.

It is in the Nathan Rosselli Palace where Giuseppe Mazzini lived the last days of his life and where he died in 1872. It is a cultural center and library where personal documents and the Risorgimento’s hero heirloom are exposed.
Precious collection of costumes and objects for the stage which belonged to the pisan baritone Titta Ruffo. The alternation of the costumes (16 up on 43) protects them and helps in preservation.
